For the love of Dagoth Ur, to this day I have yet to see ONE person say "Drones still work" who doesn't immediately follow it with "My Dominix and sentries."
Get this through your thick potato looking Dominxi heads: There are other drone ships besides Dominix. There are other drones besides sentries. I don't give a frak how happy you are that the very AFK boat combo that CCP said they were fixing is now the only one that still works. I want to see to Dragoons, Arbitrators, Myrmidons, Gilas and Scorpions to get their usefulness back! I want to know that there is still more than one frikkin' ship combo that is still viable! And I never, ever want to hear some nitwit talk about how their stupid Dominix/sentries combo is still able to AFK through everything and that somehow this fact is supposed to make everything all better for everyone! I assure you that it does not.
"Manage your drones better" coming from a sentry using Domi pilot is the pinnacle of asinine, because you self-righteous turds don't have to manage drones at all - you just blap your remote repair on your little floating turrets and ignore incoming damage. For those who actually still send drones out past 1km from their ship are still watching their drones get insta-popped by broken AI mechanics that think that six battleships insta-locking and alpha striking light drones is just dandy... guess what? Things still suck.
When drones die to insta-lock and one-shot alpha strikes then "management" doesn't come into the picture. At all. At this point drones are nothing more than two seconds worth of aggro chaff.
"Use ECM to draw aggro" - So fix one broken game mechanic by exploiting another broken game mechanic? Brilliant! Well I guess that means CCP can go take the weekend off, now. Nothing needs to be fixed after all! Wow that was easy.
"Adapt/HTFU" - Thank you cookie cutter Tengu douche for the insightful bit of self-aggrandizing fluff that's as useless as your own testes. Next idiot, please?
"I can still AFK with my Domi-" I AM GOING TO TRACE YOUR ISP, BREAK INTO YOUR HOUSE AND SPRINKLE FIRE ANTS INTO YOUR EYES! You know why? Because you are the problem! You are the reason this stupid new AI mechanic was put in place and, in classic style, you seem to be the only people not affected by it. Shut up. Shut up forever until the end of all time, understand? Because every time I lose a T2, or a Navy, or some other piece of hardware that cost more than most cruisers, I'm not blaming CCP. I'm blaming you. YOU. And someday I will find you. And there will be ants. Many many ants.
